Mulbury adds director from Keepmoat

Chris Kelly has joined Lymm-headquartered developer Mulbury as technical manager from Keepmoat Homes.

He joins Mulbury after spending more than three years with Keepmoat as technical director, and has previously worked for Morris Homes and Persimmon. In his role with Mulbury, he will head up a team of four, which works alongside architects, engineers, and consultants on site investigations, design, planning, construction, utilities, and remediation.

Greg Mulligan, director of Mulbury, said: “Chris is an incredibly experienced building engineer and brings strong leadership qualities to our technical team.

“Mulbury typically has up to 14 housing sites under construction at any one time, as well as many more potential new schemes in the pipeline.

“We needed someone with Chris’s knowledge and skills to ensure we can continue providing a quality service to our housing clients, coming up with great technical solutions to make sites viable.”

Mulbury has five separate divisions – affordable homes, care, city, residential, and land procurement. Projects currently under construction include Excelsior Works and a £30m private rented scheme in central Manchester, while it has schemes in the pipeline such as a 94-home project in Hazel Grove.
