M&S store opens at Lowry Outlet Mall
Marks & Spencer is opening its furniture and home accessories outlet at the mall in Salford Quays on Thursday.
The 5,885 sq ft unit is located near to the Gap outlet store on the ground floor and is an addition to the Marks & Spencer store already located on the ground floor of the Lowry Outlet Mall.
Marks & Spencer signed another 10-year lease on its existing outlet for an undisclosed rent with mall owner Orbit Developments in July.
The new M&S furniture and home accessories outlet will employ 12 members of staff. Details of the lease were not disclosed.
The new store will stock a selection of soft furnishings for the home, including cushions and bedding.
Richard Fox, head of outlet stores at M&S, said: "The store is in a great location and will offer customers a range of high quality Marks & Spencer furniture & home accessories at great prices. We look forward to celebrating the opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and by offering a further 10% off when customers spend £70 or more from Thursday until Monday."
Robert Hallworth, centre manager at the Lowry Outlet Mall, added: "M&S Outlet Furniture and Home Accessories has impressive performance figures, with a solid customer base. We attract the ideal shopper for this offering and are confident this is a strong addition to the Mall's retail portfolio."
