MS Lending Group appoints managing director

Rob Goodall has joined the Wilmslow company, which offers bridging finance for residential and commercial properties.

Goodall was formerly the head of specialist lending at Together. He has nearly 29 years of experience in property, including time as a chartered surveyor.

MS Lending Group chief executive Michael Stratton also worked previously for Together before starting his own business.

Goodall will be responsible for growing the company, focusing in particular on specialist lending. He will also use his market expertise to support MS Lending Group’s staff and clients.

“As managing director of MS Lending Group, I feel privileged to be joining Michael Stratton and the team who have created a formidable business,” Goodall said. “My experience and the past 9 years within the financial sector have been invaluable I am very excited to get started.”

Stratton said Goodall’s experience “will be invaluable” in the team’s future goals, which include plans to double its loan book of £20m by the end of this year.

“His knowledge of the industry, as well as his reputation and ambition, make him a great fit for the MS Lending Group team,” Stratton said. “As we continue to put our customers at the forefront of every decision we make, to enable lending to be easy, fast and flexible, Rob is the perfect individual to lead this.”

MS Lending Group started in 2021 and has completed more than 100 fundings.
