MPE Interiors adds to management team

Birkenhead-based fit-out contractor MPE Interiors has appointed Phil Taylor as general manager to co-ordinate work on existing properties and new-build developments.

Taylor has 40 years' experience managing housing, commercial and public-sector projects, including company offices, housing estates and hospitals.

Taylor joins from his own company, which he ran for 20 years. He has held building site and managerial roles with local and national property companies throughout his career.

MPE Interiors specialises in fit-out projects for the commercial property, residential property and maritime sectors. The company has 30 staff.

Recent work has included projects across Merseyside and Manchester, and has included off shore vessel fit-outs, restaurant Thai Thai in Prenton, and a range of residential kitchen and study interiors.

Taylor said: "I plan to use my many years of production and site-based experience to help expand MPE's property work. We provide clients with the whole property service – from the ground to the roof, and everything inside. We also have plans for future new-build projects where we can provide full design and build facilities."
