Morris & Spottiswood appoints new maintenance boss

Fit-out, housing and maintenance specialist Morris & Spottiswood has appointed Mike Holder as the new managing director of the maintenance arm of the business which operates out of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Warrington.

The maintenance arm's customers including Lloyds Banking Group, Marks & Spencer, the Co-operative Group and Strathclyde Police and will contribute around one quarter of the group's £100m turnover this year.

Holder joins the business with extensive experience of maintenance and small works businesses gained within Morgan Sindall, Cunningham Lindsey and Rok.

Chris Saxton, chief executive of Morris & Spottiswood, said: "This is an important appointment for us and one that will significantly help our Maintenance business continue to develop its key strategy for the future."
