Morris joins Mulbury Homes

Affordable housing developer Mulbury Homes has appointed Claire Morris as business development manager as it seeks opportunities in the care sector.

Morris joins the developer based in Lymm, Cheshire, from Arena Housing Group and will spearhead the company's new Mulbury Care division.

She has previously worked at Places for People.

Mulbury Care specialises in delivering extra care housing solutions.

It recently completed its first development, a scheme of apartments for over 55s in Darwen, Lancashire, for Twin Valley Homes, and currently has a number of other schemes in the planning phase.

Greg Mulligan, a director of Mulbury Homes, said: "Claire has a vast amount of experience in new-build projects within the extra care sector and her expertise will prove invaluable as we look to partner housing associations and other housing developers to bring new development opportunities to the fore."

Morris said: "Mulbury Homes has a very successful business model for bringing new affordable housing opportunities to the market and I'm really looking forward to helping the company make the most of opportunities in the care sector."

Mulbury Homes' current and pending housing schemes have a build value in excess of £50m and will see the company deliver around 600 new homes over the next three years.
