Morgan Sindall replaces finance director

National construction and regeneration group Morgan Sindall has appointed Steve Crummett as finance director.

Incumbent David Mulligan will step down after 15 years with the group to pursue new challenges. He will leave on 10 April following a handover period.

Steve Crummett was previously group finance director at Filtrona, a position he held from 2008 until September 2012.

Prior to Filtrona, Crummett held senior positions in a number of listed companies including Exel, Mckechnie and Logica. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen. Crummett is also a non-executive director of Consort Medical.

The group contains developer Muse Developments, fit-out firm Overbury, house builder Lovell and the eponymous contractor Morgan Sindall.
