Momentum hires associate director

The real estate services company has appointed Karl Clawley to lead the group’s facilities management and property management teams.

As associate director, Liverpool-based Clawley will help the Momentum Group to support its client base of property investors, landlords and occupiers.

Momentum Group was set up two years ago by ex-Liverpool One chief Chris Bliss as a full-service property delivery company and aims to provide comprehensive advisory, construction, management, retail delivery services and maintenance solutions to private and public sector clients.

Before joining the company this month, Clawley held senior positions at Merseyrail, Manchester Arndale and Runcorn Shopping Centre, and was most recently director of shopping centres at Westgrove Group.

He has also worked at real estate consultancy Savills, where he was a centre director responsible for delivering community-focussed retail hubs and establishing partnerships with investors, retailers and visitors. He has 20 years’ experience in the industry.

Momentum Group co-founder, Chris Bliss, said: “Karl’s experience in facilities and property management, combined with his retail and customer experience know-how, will be instrumental in helping us grow our facilities management team for our clients.”

Clawley added: “Momentum’s ethos is ‘can do’ and the team spirit is amazing. Ensuring that property is managed and maintained to the highest standard to protect the assets for our investors is critical to the success of our business.

“My role will be to ensure that the group continues the development of its team and delivers for its clients through both traditional and innovative ways of improving its services and offering.”
