Mode builds Manchester team

Mode Transport Planning has hired Luke Wheeler as senior consultant at the Manchester office.

Wheeler joins Mode from AECOM’s North West development team. In his previous role, he was involved in projects including Manchester Science Park, Manchester Business School, Kampus, Citylabs 2.0 and Cheshire Lakes.

Wheeler is director Mark Edwards’ first hire at the Manchester office which opened in September 2016. Edwards commented: “I am delighted to have Luke join the Manchester office and the Mode team. We have seen our work load grow rapidly since launching and Luke is already involved in some of the exciting projects we have in the North West and across the UK.”

Mode Transport Planning is an independent consultancy providing specialist transport planning and highways advice to clients including Henry Boot Developments, Barnfield Construction, Morris Homes and TEM Property.

The firm currently employs 16 staff in total, with offices in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Oxford.
