MIPIM: Manchester stand events live online

Speeches from Prof Brian Cox, Dan Lejerskar of tech inward investor Eon Reality, and Charlie Cornish of Manchester Airports Group, will be relayed live from Cannes as part of the city's presence at the property convention.

Around 45 Manchester at MIPIM delegates are due in Cannes this week to represent Manchester's property market on the international stage.

The Manchester partnership's main presentations will take place twice daily from Tuesday 12 to Thursday 14 March on stand B1.00 at MIPIM, and will be streamed live via manchesteratmipim.com

The 15-minute presentations will take place at 10.30am and 3.30pm Central European Time. Viewers in the UK will be able to see the presentations online at 9.30am and 2.30pm Greenwich Mean Time.

Andrew Stokes, chief executive of Marketing Manchester, the agency that leads on the city's presence at MIPIM, said: "With the support of our exceptionally strong partnership, we aim to convey how cities like Manchester will continue to be the focal point for growth and development, in both the physical and intellectual sense.

"Our main audience at MIPIM is the international property community. However, we recognise that the key themes we cover are relevant to individuals and businesses from a variety of sectors, which is why we hope the live stream will once again be useful to a much wider demographic."
