Millson relocates to city centre

Design and project management specialist, Millson Associates, has relocated from Hyde to Byron House in Manchester city centre.

Millson works mainly in the leisure and residential sectors. The firm has agreed a five-year lease on 1,382 sq ft of office accommodation at the Kennedy Street property owned by a private landlord. This latest deal means that the building is now fully occupied.

There are 16 people in the Manchester office, and clients include Enterprise Inns, Punch Taverns, Seddon and Forrest.

Philip Millson of Millson Associates said: "Over the last few years our business and client base has changed significantly, where we are now working closely with national pub and leisure operators across the country and with major developers. That shift and our growth have meant that we needed a more central location that was based in Manchester yet accessible to London, where we also have an office and a strong client base.

"Byron House is an excellent fit for our business, both in terms of location and the building itself, which is architecturally stunning including features such as mosaic walls, an ornate entrance and large sash windows which give a huge amount of natural light."

John Nash, associate director at Canning O'Neill, joint agent for the scheme with PDA Holdings, said: "Kennedy Street is a highly sought after location, close to both businesses and transport networks, which meant available space was never going to be free for long. This is a unique office and we're pleased to have fully let the building on behalf of our client."
