Miller housing approved in Lancs

Miller Homes and Tatton Settled Estates have secured planning permission for 75 homes including affordable units on a five-acre site next to Coppull Enterprise Centre.

The brownfield site was previously used as overspill parking for the enterprise centre. Outline planning consent was granted by Chorley Council in 2013 for residential development.

Since securing outline planning permission Miller Homes has worked with the land owners with the view to developing the site.

Richard Barton, associate at HOW Planning, advising Miller Homes and Tatton Settled Estates, said: "The vision for this new housing scheme is to deliver a sustainable development on what is a derelict brownfield site. Both Miller Homes and Tatton Settled Estates want to ensure the site realises its full potential, bringing new homes and creating a new community for the area."

The scheme will include a mix of homes from two to four bedrooms including detached, semi-detached and mews properties.
