Miller Construction expands with three recruits

Miller Construction has taken staff numbers to 30 at its Manchester office with the expansion of its bid and business development team.

Andrew Turner joins from Wates as business development manager to assist the recently appointed area director, Frank Joyce.

Marie Hughes Jones, who has 14 years' experience including working on Salford Quays' well-known NV Buildings, arrives from Carillion to become bid manager.

Angela Brown has been appointed as assistant bid Manager, joining from Clovemead.

Joyce commented: "There are still parts of the construction industry which are incredibly buoyant and for a company like Miller Construction, partnering with clients in both the public and private sectors, there is still a large amount of business to be won.

"We are aiming to continue growing the Manchester office, building upon our strong track record in the education, health and retail markets and expand our presence in the commercial sector."

Miller Construction is a subsidiary of the Miller Group, the UK's largest privately-owned housebuilding, property development and construction business.
