MG recruits from Aztec

Interior solutions specialist MG Group has recruited Trevor Tansey to launch a new Manchester office and strengthen the company's presence in the city and North West.

Tansey previously worked for fit out firm Aztec and joins as business development director with over 30 years experience in the fit out and furniture industry.

MG Group has subsidiary firms including MG Ceilings & Linings, MG Barkers and MG Linear and will continue to have its headquarters in Bootle, Liverpool.

Tansey said: "We believe that our unique proposition of providing complete workspace solutions will be of great benefit to specifiers, facilities managers and developers alike. The fact that we can offer fit out, ceilings, partitions, mechanical and electrical work as well as interior design and furniture supply all under one roof makes us a leading business in our industry."

Current clients of MG in the North West include Siemens and BAE Systems. The company worked on the Siemans building on Princess Parkway in south Manchester.

MG also has an office in Southampton.
