MediaCityUK attracts more than 50 tenants

MediaCityUK now has more than 50 tenants across the main buildings, the Greenhouse and the Pie Factory.

Peel Media, which owns and manages the site, said it had struck deals with a variety of start-ups and more established companies.

They specialise in a range of services from TV production, digital marketing, web development and video gaming, camera hire and legal services.

The site is also the new home of BBC North and Salford University's media department.

All occupiers, including retailers based on the development, are now listed in a directory on the MediaCityUK website.

MediaCityUK managing director Stephen Wild said: "We are very pleased with the number of businesses which have been attracted to The Greenhouse and The Pie Factory.

"Both buildings are proving to be ideal locations for creative companies wanting to take advantage of the MediaCityUK environment. Small and medium-sized businesses can benefit from flexible contracts while enjoying proximity to the key players. We look forward to more companies joining us here at Salford Quays."
