McGoff Group on the move in Altrincham

McGoff Group is set to relocate to a 9,000 sq ft office on Altrincham Business Park in February next year following growth across its construction, care, and development businesses.

The company is currently based at accommodation on Lyon Road, off Atlantic Street and near Asda, but will move to a neighbouring property which will be fitted out by the group to provide 9,000 sq ft of office space.

This will act as the group’s headquarters featuring finance, HR, recruitment, administration, and procurement functions. There will also be dedicated spaces for the group’s acquisition, design, building, and facilities services teams, along with the group’s other businesses: New Care, Back to the Garden Childcare; and Market 41.

Fit-out works are already under way ahead of the move in February 2019. The group also has an office in London.

The group currently has a wide portfolio of construction and development projects including care homes through its New Care business in Wilmslow, Chester, Formby, and Lytham.

It is also behind Market 41 in Urmston, a new-build food hall featuring 10 to 12 operators and 180 covers. Major construction projects the group is delivering include Downtown with Property Alliance Group, a 368-apartment scheme on Woden Street in Salford, along the River Irwell.

James McGoff, managing director at the McGoff Group, says: “We are extremely proud of our team, which has taken the McGoff Group from strength to strength in recent years. This office move is evidence of hard work and dedication, and the continued expansion of the Group within all of its individual businesses.

“We simply outgrew our current space yet wanted to remain in Altrincham where we have been based for over 45 years.”
