Mazars joins march to One St Peter’s Square

Accountant Mazars will move its 100-strong Manchester office from the Lexicon on Mount Street around the corner to One St Peter’s Square at the end of this year.

One St Peter’s Square is owned by German fund Deka, having been sold after completion by joint venture partners Argent and Greater Manchester Pension Fund.

Mazars will occupy 10,800 sq ft on the first floor and is understood to have paid £34/sq ft on a 10-year lease with a seven-year break. The deal adds to the professional advisory tenant line-up in the 280,000 sq ft building, which is more than half let. The top three-and-a-half floors are occupied by KPMG, which prelet 75,000 sq ft. Deals followed to law firms DLA Piper, for 45,000 sq ft, and Addleshaw Goddard, 56,000 sq ft.

Edwards & Co advised Mazars. The letting agents are Bilfinger GVA and Savills.
