Matthews & Goodman names new heads of office

Property advisors Matthews & Goodman have strengthened their management structure in Manchester with three senior promotions.

David Laws, Dominic Evans and Graham Cooke become joint heads of office, and said they "will provide the Manchester office with a revitalised leadership role".

The move closely follows Matthews & Goodman's acquisition of Edmund Kirby in Liverpool. Matthews & Goodman is now one of the largest independent firms by number of fee earners in the North West.

Laws, who heads up office agency, Evans, investment, and Cooke, valuation, will continue with their fee-earning roles. Laws added: "The current market provides opportunity and with a strong team of highly professional surveyors, building consultants and planners, Matthews & Goodman is extremely well placed to continue to capitalise on its stable foundations. Whilst the market continues to be challenging we are actively looking to expand elements of our service provision and continue to invest in growth areas of the business."

The promotions coincide with Matthews & Goodman's search for new office space in Manchester city centre.

The Manchester office was previously managed by Bob Parker, who moves to a consultant position.
