Matrics elects new committee

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Matrics Greater Manchester committee has appointed new members for 2014-15, with Anna Dooley, development surveyor at Capital & Centric, named as chairman.

Dooley replaces outgoing chairman Georgina Rose, who is senior surveyor at JLL. Jenna McIntyre, graduate surveyor of JLL, has been appointed vice-chairman to the committee.

The RICS Matrics represents young surveyors in the first decade of their careers. The 10-strong committee includes officers responsible for education and schools, professional development, social, sports, and PR and marketing.

Matrics in Greater Manchester aims to grow by 50% over the next few years.

Incoming chairman Anna Dooley, said: "I would like to thank all of the committee, especially Georgina, who have worked hard to make the past year a great success for the RICS Greater Manchester Matrics. I am looking forward to another successful year as we see more young surveyors join the group."
