Mason Owen associate partner sets up own practice

Dodd Commercial LLP has been launched in Chester by Martin Dodd and his wife Kim.

During his time at Mason Owen, Dodd's clients included Ethel Austin Property Group, as well as private individuals, and he worked on shopping centres in Widnes and in Buckley, North Wales, as well as providing property advice on an industrial estate in Middlewich, Cheshire.

Dodd, managing partner, said: "I was previously with Mason Owen's asset management department and had worked there for over 16 years in Liverpool and then Chester. I decided to set up my own business based in Chester following the closure of Mason Owen's Chester office."

Kim Dodd will assist with management accounts having previously worked as a senior manager at an undisclosed credit card bank dealing with affinity group accounts and marketing.

Dodd Commercial provides property advice with particular focus on property management and landlord and tenant work throughout the North West.

Dodd declined to disclose names of clients but said Dodd Commercial is instructed on Building 3200 at Daresbury Park in Warrington, which totals over 40,000 sq ft and is let to Hewlett-Packard.

Dodd Commercial is based at 7 Abbey Square in Chester.
