Marshall plans further 40,000 sq ft spec offices in Cheshire
Cushman & Wakefield has sold the last remaining building at Admiral Court on Cheshire Business Park in Northwich on behalf of Marshall CDP.
Parker Design, a design and web agency, has relocated from its previous premises in Northwich having acquired the 5,000 sq ft building for an undisclosed price. The quoting freehold price for Admiral Court was £145/sq ft.
Admiral Court comprises 14 self-contained units with tenants including Dechra Pharmaceuticals, ITC Consulting, KBC Advanced Technologies, CommsCare and most recently Seatriever, K & L Freight and Baluff Engineering.
Jonathan Baucher, associate at Cushman & Wakefield, said: "Following on from the success of this first phase of the scheme, planning has been submitted for a further 40,000 sq ft of speculative commercial development, which will comprise of several buildings ranging in size from 1,000 sq ft to 15,000 sq ft available on a freehold or leasehold basis. There also remains a number of development plots for future design and build opportunities."
Baucher continued: "The continued success of Admiral Court and general rise in occupier demand in the Cheshire region means that we anticipate strong demand for these new units and this is already evident. We are also looking to introduce some additional retail and leisure amenities now we have attracted a strong critical mass to the scheme over the last 24 months."
