Management reshuffle at Claremont

Warrington-based Claremont Group Interiors has promoted Ann Clarke and Tim Frankland to become joint managing directors.

Former managing director Mike Gardner steps up to executive chairman. Claremont said Gardner will retain a close operational interest in Logic Office Group, the Southern-based design, fit-out and furniture manufacturing business, which was acquired in 2009. He is also chairman of Airangel, a provider of branded guest Internet access solutions to the hospitality sector.

Tim FranklandClarke and Frankland will be responsible for driving forward the £25m turnover design, fit-out and refurbishment business which counts Bruntwood, Handelsbanken, Sheffield Hallam University and BDO amongst its clients.

Claremont Group Interiors said it had made a 'promising' start to 2012; starting work on Weightmans' new 94,000 sq ft office in Bruntwood's Plaza in Liverpool.

Frankland said: "Orders are up on our three-year average and we've had a strong win rate in the past few months. That's a promising start in a relatively slow market, but we're not resting on our laurels.

"Our focus is on increasing the top line with a much broader geographical client base and we've invested heavily in the sales and marketing resource we need to do that."

Gardner added: "It's testament to the strength of our senior management team that we've made these changes now."
