Makan signs vacuum technology firm in Bolton
Makan Investments has announced another tenant at its new Lostock Office Park in Bolton.
Edwards Limited, a specialist in vacuum processes for industrial and scientific applications, has taken a lease on 6.745 sq ft for five years at £67,500/year.
The company is relocating from nearby Wingates Industrial Estate in Westhoughton. The deal is the second at Lostock, coming six weeks after local firm Digicom BCS signed.
Lostock Office Park is a speculative development of self-contained office buildings and totals 28,665 sq ft. It is situated on Lynstock Way near the Reebok Stadium and Middlebrook Retail Park. The remaining five units range from 3,015 to 9,135 sq ft.
Future phases will be offered on a design-and-build basis and can incorporate up to 45,000 sq ft.
Phil Meakin, partner at letting agent P3 Property Consultants, said: "This is our second local user relocation. We always knew there was an un-tapped local market eager for the chance to upgrade to better quality, self-contained premises on competitive and flexible terms. When companies have good people they are keen to keep them by remaining in the area."
