Maghull appoints McGurren and Hanlon

Maghull Group has appointed Sean McGurren from Handelsbanken and Paula Hanlon from Hill Dickinson for its senior management team in Liverpool.

McGurren was formerly the Liverpool branch manager of corporate and private bank Handelsbanken for six years, and assumes the role of managing director of Maghull Developments.

Hanlon, sister of Michael Hanlon, chief executive of Maghull Group, was former equity partner at Hill Dickinson and joins as director to oversee the group's hotel and leisure operations which include Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa.

Michael Hanlon said: "We're about to commence building works to extend the hotel element at Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa and anticipate being on site with the first phase of the redevelopment of Central Square in Maghull town centre later this year.

"The appointment of both Paula and Sean bolsters our in-house professional expertise and puts us on a strong footing to deliver our current development programme and future portfolio growth."

Maghull Group is a commercial and residential property development and investment company with interests across the North West. The head office is in Hope Street, Liverpool city centre.
