MAG reports airport lettings
MAG Developments has completed six lettings totalling 8,291 sq ft at Manchester Airport.
Security firm ICTS UK has taken 929 sq ft of office space at MAG's 83,000 sq ft 4M building.
Travel retailer, World Duty Free, part of Autogrill Group, has moved into 1,520 sq ft of office space in 4M.
MIQ Logistics has taken 4,015 sq ft of industrial space at the World Freight Terminal.
Stephanie Mullenger, business development director of MAG Developments, said: "Enquiry levels continue to remain steady and as demonstrated by this latest round of lettings we are converting a number of enquiries into transactions by providing bespoke deals and flexible terms. The Airport sector of the South Manchester market has, and continues to be, one of the most active in the region and we feel that this resilience, buoyed by offering of the airport, bodes well for 2012."
MAG Developments also welcomed three businesses to its recently refurbished office building, 308 Avro Way, located on the World Freight Terminal estate and aimed at providing flexible office space for start-up businesses and SMEs.
Freight-forwarding operator, HSR International Freight UK, signed for 353 sq ft of office space; Panasonic Avionics Corp has taken 956 sq ft; and warehousing and customs clearance company, Maurice Ward Group, has moved into an office of 518 sq ft.
MAG Developments is the property and development arm of the Manchester Airports Group.
CB Richard Ellis and WHR Property Consultants are office agents for 4M; Jones Lang LaSalle and P3 Property Consultants for World Freight Terminal.
