LSH reports healthy NW industrial demand

Lambert Smith Hampton said the North West's industrial occupier market remains buoyant, with seven deals in as many months at one of its clients' estates.

The deals tally was enjoyed at Beva Investments' Greenvale Business Park, Littleborough outside Rochdale.

The latest deal saw Freudenberg, an automotive components supplier, take a 10-year lease of a 57,142 sq ft unit at an annual rent of £200,000.

Andrew Aherne, head of industrial agency at LSH's Manchester office, said: "Greenvale Business Park has proved a popular business destination owing to its modern accommodation and active local economy."

Elsewhere in the region, LSH let a 10,401 sq ft unit at Stockport Trading Estate on behalf Trillium to Steriplus, a market leader in the reprocessing of medical devices. The unit was let on a sub-lease expiring in 2011 at an annual rental of £52,005.
