LSH head of rating departs

Richard Wackett, national head of rating and director in the Lambert Smith Hampton Manchester office, has moved into a consultancy role ahead of leaving the firm in June.

Wackett's decision to take on a diminished role follows a series of departures from the Manchester office in 2014, including previous office head Peter Skelton, office agency director Mark Bamber, head of valuation Nick Davies and head of planning and development consultancy James Ogborn.

Wackett has been with LSH for 24 years. He has now established his own company, RW Consulting.

Abid Jaffry, head of office at LSH in Manchester, said: "Richard Wackett left his position as head of the rating division at LSH on April 11 2014. Richard has remained closely involved with the company and will work with LSH on a consultancy basis until June 30 2014.

"Richard has been a great asset to LSH over the past 24 years and we wish him well in the future."

This week LSH also announced five promotions in its Manchester office, with two new directors and three associate directors.

Christiaan Flatley of valuation and Jonathan Such of property management have both been appointed as directors. James Graham of building consultancy, Adam Jackson of office agency and Ben Roberts of capital markets have all been promoted to associate directors.
