Logistics firm takes 40,000 sq ft in Warrington

Demac Properties has let 44,500 sq ft of warehouse space at Warrington’s Gemini Business Park to logistics firm DX Network Connections.

The company has taken a 10-year lease on the single-storey 520 Europa Boulevard production facility, which includes 39,000 sq ft of warehouse space and 5,500 sq ft of offices over the ground and first floors. DX Network Connections replaces Steinhoff Group, which had previously let the facility.

According to Avison Young the quoting rent was £5.75/sq ft.

Located two miles north of Warrington close to the M62, the business park is home to the first Ikea store in the UK as well as Marks & Spencer, Next and Toys R Us.

James Goode, senior surveyor at Avison Young, said: “This letting comes on the back of a solid start to the year for our industrial agency team and adds to our confidence for a strong year ahead.”
