Logistics firm signs at Downing’s Port of Liverpool

Kuehne & Nagel has become the latest maritime company to reaffirm its presence in Liverpool, relocating from India Buildings to a bigger office in Downing's Port of Liverpool Building.

The Swiss logistics company signed a 10-year lease on 8,000 sq ft in the Grade II-listed building.

Robin Ellis, senior agency surveyor at Downing, said: "Kuehne & Nagel is a significant international brand with high standards to match. We've invested heavily in complementing the Port of Liverpool Building's presence and character with the facilities and specification that modern businesses demand. This letting is further proof of its enduring commercial appeal for occupiers of the highest quality."

The move follows closely after Maersk Line's decision to base its UK and Ireland headquarters in Bruntwood's The Plaza in Liverpool.
