Logistics firm agrees Warrington deal

Legat Owen has reported the letting of three acres and an 8,000 sq ft industrial unit on Barley Castle Trading Estate in Warrington to Zenith Logistics.

Patrick Hughes, associate director of letting agent Legat Owen, said: "Given the size of the site and the excellent transport communications the site provided a rare opportunity in the marketplace and we received a good level of interest.

"Given the external yard area it was an ideal opportunity for Zenith Logistics and hopefully will be an ideal location for the company going forward."

The site is in Lyncastle Way, Appleton Thorn near the M56. The quoting rent was £75,000 a year. Zenith agreed a 10-year lease.
