Logistics breakfast | 10 November

Hill DickinsonStoford Developments, Savills and the Road Haulage Association will join Place North West and Hill Dickinson to discuss the issues facing the logistics sector at a special breakfast briefing next month.

The impact of the migrant crisis on hauliers, the rise of port and airport centric freight, the availability of deliverable development land, will all feature on the agenda.

This is an ideal event for property and logistics professionals to network over breakfast and share their views on the challenges and opportunities in the market.

Speakers confirmed so far include:

Adrian Marsh, partner at Hill Dickinson, handling international clients’ needs on contentious freight liability, cargo recovery, marine insurance policy and commercial trade disputes

Dan Gallagher, joint managing director of Stoford, extremely active developer in the logistics sector, with sites and projects around the North West including Mountpark Airport City, Ditton Park Widnes, Stonebridge Cross Logistics Park Liverpool

Chrys Rampley, infrastructure and security manager at Road Haulage Association, senior policy advisor and lobbyist representing 6,000 road haulage companies, helping shape the vision for a well-built and managed logistics network.

Jonathan Atherton, director of industrial and logistics at Savills, experienced agent advising clients including B&M Retail, Legal & General, Evander, Liberty Properties at the new 400,000 sq ft Nice Pak facility in Wigan, Nice Pak, Harbert at Heywood Distribution Park.

The event is due to take place from 8am to 10am on Tuesday 10 November at Albert Square Chophouse in central Manchester.
