Lockers & Benches expands

The Bolton-based manufacturer and distributor of changing room furniture is relocating to Edgefold Industrial Estate in Farnworth.

The company, which supplies Probe lockers to schools, hospitals, sports centres and police forces, took a 5,000 sq ft unit on Plodder Lane.

Lockers & Benches relocated from a 1,500 sq ft unit at Pocket Workshops in Washington Street.

The letting for a term of five years was secured on behalf of landlord Seddon Estates by the Manchester offices of Colliers International and Nolan Redshaw, joint agents for Edgefold Industrial Estate.

Freddie Oakey, graduate surveyor logistics and industrial at Colliers International, said: "Lockers & Benches is a successful and expanding business and we were delighted to source larger premises for them."

Lee Crook, managing director of Lockers & Benches, said: "The move is in keeping with our continued growth and affords us the opportunity to progress and improve the business further."
