Livingcity adds to board

Manchester-based property manager The Livingcity Group has appointed Brian Rees, chairman of design firm, The If Agency, as a non-executive director.

Rees will assist with strategic development, marketing and communications activities and Livingcity’s planned expansion drive.

Rees was a board member of ReBlackpool, the urban regeneration company, for five years.

Mark Gallimore, managing director of The Livingcity Group, said: “The last few months has been a really busy period for the company as both the commercial and residential markets slowly start to recover after a challenging period. Brian’s appointment will help the whole team to focus on the future so we maximise every opportunity and build an even more robust business. His experience and skills set are first class and his ability to work across the business is going to be a real benefit moving forward.”
