Lidl gains planning for Bolton store

Discount supermarket chain Lidl has been granted planning to build a store at Westhoughton in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

The 11,442 sq ft store, which will include 67 car parking spaces, is expected to open at the end of the year.

Indigo Planning advised Lidl.

London took the top position on Arcadis’ 2024 International Construction Costs Report, while the North West city claimed the 12th spot.

An opportunity has arisen to snap up the freehold to 1.7 acres of development land in Manchester’s Irk Valley.
