L&G buys in Trafford

Wincanton, advised by Savills and Cushman & Wakefield, has sold Ocean Trading Estate in Trafford Park to Legal & General Property.
Legal & General Property agreed a price of £3.6m for the site totalling 7.68 acres with internal warehousing space of 123,142 sq ft.
Stuart Murray, industrial director of Savills, said: "Having been retained in January to advise Wincanton on its strategy to dispose of vacant warehouse facilities that are surplus to current requirements, we are pleased to have secured these two deals. We are looking forward to continuing our role with them and progressing the asset management strategy jointly with Cushman & Wakefield throughout the UK."
