Lettings imminent for Urban Splash in Stalybridge
Developer Urban Splash said the first occupier of commercial space at the residential-led Longlands scheme was close to signing a leasehold deal.
Lynn Haime, associate director at Urban Splash, said: "We are close to securing the first deal in The Mill at Longlands, with interest having picked up on the development since Christmas. This was generated by the near completion of Pattern House, the second building at the site which we recently held a 'topping out' celebration for and is due for completion soon.
"Longlands offers a real mix of opportunity in Stalybridge with the character and charm of The Mill building alongside the fantastic design of the brand new Pattern House."
The first phase of Longlands, the mill conversion, contains three commercial units for office, retail or leisure, as does the second phase, the new-build Pattern House. The space ranges from around 1,000 sq ft to 2,300 sq ft.
There are 103 apartments in total across the two phases. The apartments at Pattern House will be released for sale in spring and will start at £99,500 or £50,000 for a 50% shared ownership model. The site is between the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and the River Tame in the centre of Stalybridge.
