The Institute of Economic Development is holding an event for regeneration professionals to hear from representatives of the region's four Local Enterprise Partnerships.

Representatives from LEPs for Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region, Cheshire & Warrington and Cumbria plus the head of economic development at Lancashire County Council, which is preparing a revised bid after failing first time, will each give a quick overview of their bids before taking questions from the floor.

The speakers are Aidan Manley, chief executive of Cheshire & Warrington Enterprise Commission, Dave Moorcroft, director of The Mersey Partnership, Baron Frankal, director of Manchester's Commission for the New Economy, Martin Kelly, head of economic development at Lancashire County Council and Rob Johnston, chief executive of Cumbria Chamber of Commerce.

The event is free and takes place at 4pm on Thursday 2 December at Birchwood Golf Club, Warrington near junction 11 of the M62.
