Architect DMWR has hired Chris Lenehan, previously of Saunders, to manage its Manchester office.
Joining at associate director level, Lenehan will head a five-strong team at the Spring Gardens studio. DMWR also has a London office, and works as a sister company to Hetfordsire-based CHQ.
DMWR said that the Manchester office has thus far predominantly worked in healthcare, residential, leisure and commercial. The firm employs more than 50 people in total.
Lenehan has joined from Saunders’ Manchester office, and will now be the lead director for DMWR Manchester. He said he is “looking forward to driving new and exciting opportunities across retail, residential, leisure and mixed-use sectors”.
DMWR launched its Manchester office in 2015, the firm reappearing in the city after operating a base there for a time in the early 1990s.
