Lendlease moves in to Salford Quays

Listed property company Lendlease’s construction arm has chosen Quay West in Salford Quays as the base for a new UK regions North office.

Quay West will house 50 Lendlease staff in a 3,450 sq ft office. The majority of the staff will be working on construction projects and consulting services for external clients.

The lease at Quay West represents expansion and relocation for Lendlease in the North West. The company was previously based in an office in Peel-owned Venus in Trafford.

Projects which Lendlease has delivered in the North include the Trafford Centre in Manchester and Kings Waterfront and Liverpool John Lennon Airport in Liverpool. Lendlease has also undertaken education projects such as the Lancashire Building Schools for the Future Programme, and residential projects such as Potato Wharf in Manchester.

Recently, Lendlease has begun work on the £80m Copperas Hill scheme in Liverpool for John Moores University.
