Lend Lease signs TK Maxx at Golden Square

TK Maxx will open a store at Golden Square shopping centre in Warrington at the end of September.

The discount retailer signed a lease on a 20,400 sq ft unit at the mall for 20 years at £315,000 a year.

The unit was previously occupied by Sports Direct, which will now move into a previously vacant 9,400 sq ft unit within the shopping centre.

TK Maxx is relocating from the town's Cockhedge Centre to the nearby Golden Square. The new store is due to open on 29 September.

Lend Lease was advised by Jones Lang LaSalle and Tushingham Moore. TK Maxx was represented by Morgan Williams.

Other lettings at Golden Square this year include Jack & Jones, Internationale, and Bijou Brigette. Three other deals are in solicitors' hands.
