Lend Lease adds pair to Golden Square

Lend Lease has signed two more occupiers to its 365,000 sq ft extension of Golden Square shopping centre in Warrington.

German retailer Deichmann Shoes has taken a 4,000 sq ft unit and T-Mobile another of 1,400 sq ft at the £120m scheme.

The 45-unit extension, which opened last year doubling the size of the centre, is now almost fully let. Four units remain with two of those also expected to exchange later this month.

Quoting rents started at £150/sq ft in Zone A when the scheme opened but discounts are now being offered due to the tougher market.

Tushingham Moore and Churston Heard, now part of Jones Lang LaSalle, are letting agents. DTZ represented Deichmann. Harper Dennis Hobbs advised T-Mobile.
