Legal & General signs wealth management advisor

R2 Sports Group, a provider of personal finance advice to sports stars, has agreed a five-year lease for £30/sq ft at The Pinnacle on Manchester's King Street taking the 1,900 sq ft ninth floor.

The ten-storey building is owned by Legal & General and saw rents reach £34/sq ft at its peak. Alex Russell, partner at WHR Property Consultants, said the upper floors will continue to attract headline rents.

He added: "This new letting marks a great start to the new year and is a promising indicator for increased activity in the office market – in particular Manchester's prime core over the coming months. The Pinnacle offers exceptional office accommodation in a prime city centre location and as it continues to attract interest we expect to welcome more new occupiers to the building in the coming months."

There remains 7,180 sq ft to let across the second, third and tenth floor at the buildings, which totals more than 21,000 sq ft.
