Leeds retail agent crosses Pennines

Barker Proudlove Retail Property Consultants have opened an office in Manchester, which will be led by Gary Crompton who has joined the company from Reid Rose Gregory as director.

Based in Centurion House, Deansgate, the Manchester office will specialise in retail agency providing leasing, tenant acquisition, disposal and strategic asset management advice to clients on their shopping centre and high street property holdings in line with the Leeds office, set up in 2010.

Following the inclusion of Gary Crompton, Barker Proudlove are now instructed on 30 shopping centres across the North of England with key North West shopping centre instructions including Stretford Mall, Manchester; Exchange Shopping Centre, Rochdale; Stamford Quarter, Altrincham; Pendle Rise, Nelson; Arcades Shopping Centre, Ashton and Roebuck Centre, Newcastle under Lyme.

Barker Proudlove also act as retained agents on key high street units across the North with key clients including AXA, F&C REIT, Aviva, DTZ IM and Royal London Asset Management.

The company also advises a number of retailer clients on their new store acquisition requirements throughout the region including Deichmann Shoes, Cash Converters, Waitrose, Specsavers, The Works and Perfect Home.
