LCDP unveils new board members

Liverpool Commercial District Partnership has strengthened its board and will unveil the new key members at its annual general meeting in Liverpool city centre tonight.

Neil Scales, chief executive of regional transport authority, Merseytravel, is the new public sector appointment to the revamped board.

Scales joins new private sector members such as Debbie Thompson, head of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank's Merseyside Business Centre, David Swaffield, head of property and construction at Hill Dickinson, and Ian Sherry, development director of UK Land & Property.

Former regional director of Bruntwood, David Guest, will also be introduced following the recent announcement of his appointment as the group's new chairman.

The Liverpool Commercial District Partnership has delivered the development of travel plans, upgraded street lighting and extended opening hours at the Old Hall Street entrance to Moorfields station, located in Liverpool city centre, in the past year.
