Lap dance club moves to Wood Street
The former Fudge nightclub in Wood Street, Liverpool, has been let to lap dancing operator X in the City, for a rent of around £80,000 a year.
The 5,000 sq ft unit was marketed by Colliers International on behalf of a private landlord.
X in the City is relocating from existing premises in Lime Street, Liverpool because that site is subject to a compulsory purchase order as part of a £35m regeneration scheme around the railway station.
Colin Siebert, director of licensed and leisure for the Liverpool office of Colliers International, said: "The former nightclub premises are ideal for X in the City and I understand that they plan to open very soon."
Colliers International recently opened its Liverpool office in the India Buildings on Water Street in the city's central business district.
What is happening to the façade of the building at the old X in the City – the old cinema – wasn’t this featured some time ago re a bid to save it?
