Language college takes space in Eden Square

Liverpool City College has acquired the freehold of a 1,892 sq ft ground floor base at Downing's Eden Square development in Liverpool for an undisclosed sum.

The international language school relocated to the Hatton Garden district of the city from its former base on Fenwick Street this month.

Facilities at the site include new state-of-the-art classrooms, a common room and an onsite crèche for the school's twenty students.

Liverpool-based architects MgMaStudio and Skyline Property Solutions collaborated with Liverpool City College on the project.

Founded in 2010, Liverpool City College is accredited by The Independent Schools Inspectorate and provides courses that allow students to learn English along with skills. Students can combine their passion for languages with other aspects of learning.

Lay Lim, the college's principal, said: "We're very much looking forward to relocating to Eden Square. We are passionate about this city and excited about Eden Square being our new home."
