Langtree brings food importer to Openshaw

Langtree's the City Works industrial estate in North Manchester has welcomed another occupier taking the occupancy level to 93%.

Kosher food importer and distributor, Hatov Distribution, has bought a 3,730 sq ft industrial unit on the Clayton Court part of the site. Hatov began eight years ago in London and opened a branch in Manchester two years ago in leased accommodation.

Hatov owner, Avi Roth, said: "Since opening the Manchester branch we have been looking to purchase an industrial unit but, until now, hadn't been able to find something suitable in the local area.

"Our requirement was for a secure unit in good condition, and the City Works appealed to us as it provided this, amongst its many other benefits."

Langtree will follow the 100,000 sq ft first phase with a further 57,158 sq ft of industrial accommodation, now on site.

The second phase, Norbury Court, will comprise 17 units ranging in size from 2,600 to 22,000 sq ft with a specification that includes offices, heating and lighting.

Joint agents for both phases of the City Works are DTZ's Manchester office and P3 Property Consultants.
