Langtree adds to emerging North Liverpool business park

Following planning approval, developer Langtree has started on site with the second phase at Wellington Employment Park South, Liverpool. The scheme comprises a 33,500 sq ft unit let to Greenberg Glass Group and a further 20,000 sq ft of speculative industrial space.

Greenberg Glass Group, a nationwide commercial glass and glazing contractor, will relocate to Wellington Employment Park South in spring 2008 from William Moult Street where the company has been based since 1936.

Kieran Grealis, senior development manager at Langtree, said: "Starting on the second phase of Wellington Employment Park South with the purpose-built unit for Greenberg Glass Group is a major milestone in the development.

"The 50,000 sq ft first phase of the development is due for completion within the next month and we believe that, upon full completion of the 19-unit industrial scheme in February 2008, Wellington Employment Park South will be an extremely valuable asset to the industrial market in North Liverpool."

GVA Grimley is joint agent for the Wellington scheme with Keppie Massie.
