Landlords seek contractors for projects worth £130m

Procure Plus, a consortium of North West registered social landlords, is looking to procure building services worth up to £130m.

The body is working in association with Lancashire Housing Partnership and Cumbria Housing Partners on a framework agreement for contractors to deliver new homes on a design and build basis.

In a tender document PP said applicants must be capable of delivering traditional construction methods, "but other modern methods of construction may be required" during the life of the framework.

The agreement has been divided into five lots of varying size for a total of 138 homes. It will be in place for four years from May 2012.

The members of PP are responsible for around 195,000 properties. For more information contact frameworktender@procure-plus.com.
