Land Securities plan £100m scheme for St John’s centre

Liverpool's St John's shopping centre is to be given a £100m facelift by Land Securities.

The new plans propose that the existing St John's shopping centre be moved to the upper floor of the centre's Williamson Square extension, which is currently occupied by JJB Sports.

St John's shopping centre is also in talks to relocate to Clayton Square shopping centre, which is also owned by Land Securities.

If approved by planners, the scheme could start in spring next year.
